NK cells testing advice

Hi, I have had 4 miscarriages in the last 12 months (I have a daughter who is almost 3 and prior to her no issues, although after pregnancy I was diagnosed with coeliac disease) and have been reading up on NK cells. Does anyone have any contact details for private testing in the West Midlands? Thanks in advance.

Thank you - I’ve had a read and it appears there’s a lot of research around this. We just want to understand why it keeps happening x

Contact Tommy’s. They are a charity that do research for miscarriages and still births etc etc. If you meet their criteria they will do all the testing for you but you will need a referral note from your GP. I’m currently waiting on an appointment myself.. Good luck xx

I got myself testsed as I have had two failed ivfs. You can call the number once you have a positive ovulation, so you just need to track your cycle by using the ovulation sticks. Appointments are quick! The staff are really friendly to. I got my results back within 4 weeks, I was told I do have high NK cells. The second test results I am waiting for. It does cost £540 I didn't mind paying that if it gave me clarification on if I did have high NK cells. If you want to know anything else please let me know. X

Thank you - other than the coeliac I’m healthy, don’t drink, smoke etc so we weren’t expecting to miscarry. So difficult.

I agree re the cost; we just want to understand why it’s happening x
