Bleeding on 2ww 😞😰

Hi I'm really worried it's currently my 2ww and due my pregnancy test next week Wednesday. I'm 26 years old and my husband 27. I had 1 single embryo transfer fresh ivf which was a BFN and now 1 single embryo transfer FET. I started bleeding on Thursday and now it's continued (2 days which appears like a period) I feel like it's all over

Hi Saf,

I’m sorry to hear you worried about the bleeding. The best will be to wait for your test date. I know you probably still going to be concerned but didn’t want to read and run as I can imagine you a bit worried. Lots of people bleed and still have a positive result.

Is it full on bleeding?

Hi /Beebeestar yesterday it was a little bit and got heavier today it's so emotionally draining 😫😭

Yes it really is! Try not to worry and get some rest.

I had some bleeding in my failed cycle but it was on the day before testing.

I’ve been following on this forum since February and I’ve seen loads of girls comment on bleeding and quite a few still had positive results.

On my last fresh cycle I bled a day before too which was a BFN and this time during FET Ive bleeding 6 days before the official test day I hope it is implantation bleeding the only thing I want is to become a mother. Thanks Beebeestar for your support xxx

Yes 6 days before it could be implantation! It’s hard not to over think it all... real mind boggler this IVF thing!! I hope to hear good news next week.

Hello, can't offer you reassurance but just wanted to say I'm in the same position - started bleeding brown yesterday, then period like cramps, and red blood today. My OTD is Tuesday. For me personally, I believe this is a period as it is red and heavier than spotting and I have the cramps. I will test in the morning anyway but I know that for me it is over. I was so anxious with worry and couldn't sleep last night. This is my first fresh round with no frozen embryos either so now I'll have to wait until round 2. I am totally heartbroken as my lead up and my first week went so well. It's a tough emotional day. The process is hard. I so hope that you are only having spotting and not full AF like me. I wish you lots of luck. Don't google like a mad woman like I did! I have my fingers crossed for youxxx

Hi Scarlett I've been googling like a mad women on the phone my husband is like you never put that thing down ! I believe mine is a period too as it's red and got heavier today I will test on Wednesday and let you know I am hoping it is implantation bleeding for both of us! I'm heart broken , and just emotionally drained 😭 Xxx thanks for the support from everyone

Is your blood brown and light? Or red and getting heavy? There's a chance it could be implantation bleeding - I hope that it is for you. Xx

I had a 5dt and today when I got red AF is 9dp5dt. My OTD is 13dp5dt but the clinic said I could test for myself from Sunday on day 11 but as I know it's all over I'm just going to have to test in the morning, day 10. My clinic advised me to carry on with the vaginal pessaries until my test on Tuesday even if I test negative and despite the blood 😢

Sorry you're so worried too and sorry yours has turned red. Do you have any cramping? X

Awwww we're both in the same boat sending big hugs your way. The hospital had told me to carry on with the pessaries too. I might just test a bit early too. Mine was a 5dt FET was yours too? Don't be sorry Hun it will make 2 dad emotional wrecks. I don't have much cramping usually with periods it it so bad I need painkillers and I didn't need them so far xxxx

Mine was a 5dt but I had no frozen ones, just one fresh, my first round. This period has been heavier and more painful than my usual ones x

I had 3 5dt and bled on day 5 and on day 8. Both times it was red spotting on the first day which turned to brown the following day and then it stopped - both were implantation bleeds as I'm 8 weeks now. It's true some women don't even bleed the implantation blood and some women do bleed, however it's shouldn't be continuous as implantation blood is not a lot hence it cannot be continuous (I had a lot of cramps during these bleeds and couldn't stand still, it was that bad)

On my first scan I found that one of the embryos was behind by 3 days which made perfect sense of the bleed on day 8.

I'd suggest you rest loads and take it easy until your test date. Sending you loads of best wishes 🍀🍀🍀🍀

Hi Rubina today I had spotting and it was brown then a bit red 😭 I just had 1 frozen embryo to put back I really hope it is implantation bleeding .. I feel so low that I'm even scared to rest on Wednesday when I had my first fresh cycle with 1 embryo to put pack it had me in tears getting a negative result. I've just been praying loads and hope it's not my period thanks these messages means a lot xxxx 💕

Good I'm glad you're feeling better xxx I'm ok, had a mini meltdown for an hour where I felt really angry, sad, irritable, emotional - cried, had a word with myself, then had a lovely evening out! Had 2 pints at the pub and a lovely time at the fireworks display x
