6 week scan?

Has anybody had a scan at 6 weeks? If so what could you see? I'm booking a private one for Friday wich I'll be exactly 6 weeks was going to book one for Monday but don't think I can wait till then 😰 It does say id have a re-scan for free of charge if they feel like I should have one xx

I had one but wish I didn't. It's right in the cusp of being able to see a heartbeat and we couldn't which caused more worry. Had one at 8 weeks at the clinic and baby is doing perfectly xx

What could you see? My bleeding has stopped now but I'm so worried and offnwork for the rest of the week and my minds on overdrive 😭.. I could just have the one on Monday still wich I'll be 6 weeks 3 days so maybe better to wait till then xx

Saw the pregnancy sac and yolk. If I could do it again I would hold off but is a personal choice. Hope it goes well whatever you choose x

Just be aware you may not see a heartbeat at this stage so could cause you more anxiety than anything!xx

I know 😰.. I might just wait until Monday and try keep busy this weekend with the husband go out for tea etc.. just so scared 😰 Xx

Must be really hard....Ive never gotten to that stage before. Hang on in there it's best that you don't scan too early, 7 weeks is usually about right to see everything!! Yes try to do some nice things with hubby to take your mind off it...Im sure it won't but you deserve a treat!xx

It is.. its worse having to wait till next week uurgh! I really do hope everything is ok 🙏 This is the furthest Ive ever gotten I just hope it stays in there and continues to grow 🍀 Xxx

I had a scan at 6+4 and we saw the heartbeat so it's possible but don't panic if you don't see one. X

Thanks hunn I'll try not to but already panicky as Ive had very light pink bleeding and then brown ever since but now it's stopped again 😰 Xx

Hi hun if it's any help years ago when I had a bleed they scanned me I was 6 weeks and they couldn't vsee anything they was convinced it was ectopic and kept me in for obs they did bloods every 2 days I was in for 5 they kept monitoring Me on the 4the day they said bloods are looking good they wanted to scan me next day, next day they seen everything where it was supposed to be.. Next week their going to scan me at 5 weeks 6 days aswel as tests I'm aware they probably won't see what they want to they've stressed this to me also.

I suggest waiting it out till at least Monday you've got a better chance then and you'll avoid so much more worry 💗🤗😘 good luck hun xx

It is hard hun. Because we work so hard to get here and don't want anything bad to happen. Mother's instinct. Hopefully you will see and get the reasurrance you need hun.

It's common for some women to bleed. Are you having cramps? The fact it's not red is good. And if it's stopping really good. You could ask your clinic to do betas to make sure the number is increasing to give you peace of mind? X

Yes Ive been having cramps on and off since transfer! The bleeding was very light pink but whent brown.. just inserted my pressaries and there was only a bit of brown on one of the applicator's.. hopefully I don't have anything else and all is well at the scan! 🙏.. my doctor whont do a hcg blood test! He's crap xx

I'm having cramps too but also you have to remember you're taking progesterone which can also give you cramps. It's not fresh blood nor clots. Could be pessaries irritating your cervix, or you could just be one of those ladies that spot. X

It was pink at first only one yesterday morning and then before bed.. I lost a very small clot this morning after opening my bowels (sorry tmi) so very worried! Haven't had any bleeding since though.. only the bit of brown discharge on the applicator xx

I bleed for 3 weeks at the beginning and I am now 25 weeks so try not to worry xx

Hey hun I had a scan at exactly 6 weeks and we were able to see the heartbeat. The dr did prepare us as it's still very early and said 50% of the time a heartbeat is not detectable at this point, however I was happy with our scan though a little disappointed she didn't give us any of the pics and just kept them in the file.

I had one today 6weeks 2days, they showed me yolk sac wee buds where there arms and legs are, and a fab heartbeat , good luck xx❤️💋

Fingers crossed for you. It seems quite normal to me from listening to other people's experiences. I had my scan at 5wk6days and there was no heartbeat but they are able to tell if the pregnancy is viable by measurements. I went back exactly 1 week later and they told me the outcome. So either way you will be told how your baby is progressing at your scan xxx

SECOND UPDATE: so my bloodwork came back at 9000 from yesterday morning (before the red blood started) so they sent me down for a ultrasound and all they could see was the gestasional sac 😭 I'm petrified that Ive lost the baby 💔.. I go on tomorrow for repeat bloods to see how they are doing..

my next scan is on the 2nd November at 8am! Not going to be able to sleep tonight! I'm sure I should be 5 weeks 5 days today as I had my 5 day transfer done on the 4th October, shouldn't I be able to see the yolk sac now? 😭 I'm so scared xx

If your 5 weeks 5 days no hun it's very common not to see anything at this stage. I'm getting scanned next week at 5 wk 6 days I know there's a high chance they won't see what they're supposed to see. Keeping everything crossed that your bloods are increasing nicely and that your bleed was just one of those things that many have and everything is fine. Sending you lots of love 💗🤗😘

UPDATE THREE: so everyone..thought I would UPDATE you all since the red blood I whent for a repeat on my bloods and they have risen by 91% so they are very happy with that and said it was just too early to detect anything on the scan so hopefully the 2nd I will be able to see more.. haven't had any more blood since 🙏.. I'm so happy and relived ❤️ Hopefully I get to see the baby's heartbeat on thursday xx
