Acupuncture during Ivf yay or nay??

Hi ladies just wondering how often did you have acupuncture during Ivf? Did you have it once a week? It's quite expensive and due to start in two weeks but if it helps!! X

Yes do it but go to an acupuncturist that specialises in IVF acupuncture. We did it for our first round of IVF and it worked....sadly latest round didnt work but I am blaming stress and that I am overweight

I had one a week starting just before down reg stage. I then had just 1 during the stimms phase and 1 48 hours after transfer. I think I had 6 in total.

I'm not sure if it worked yet as I'm on the 2ww but I had hardly any symptoms during all of it and was quite calm so putting it down to the acupuncture.

I went once a fortnight before treatment and once a week during. They also recommend going twice on et day so before and after transfer. I dread to think how much I have spent 😯xx

I've been going once a week since sept and only started treatment in jan! Since starting stimming last week I've been going twice a week...definitely an advocate for acupuncture. If nothing else it gives you time to relax and makes you feel you're doing something that might help. My acupuncture man specialises in fertility but has also helped with my digestion/anxiety/insomnia and even a bad back and bad cough (all since sept) He really is my magic man!
