I think it’s meant to be below 2.5 for conception but someone else on here will probably give you the exact figures x

hi

I'm hypothyroid.

in my clinic. That's not a borderline figure, even when not ttc. It needs to be below 2.5 and free T4 needs to be within range. Are you taking levo yet?

to feel well my tsh needs to be supressed at below 1. Good news is its an easy fix, and i got pregnant soon after i was stable. Before that it took me years to get or stay pregnant. Needs increasing when you do fall on. i think i had 3 in total dose changes.

❤😊

hey ya,

Thanks for that..

I was diagnosed in India and was given 12.5 mcg Thyroxine and started to take one in the empty stomach from last month(Sep 28th) . I took each for 26 days,I was OK for 2 weeks and on my 3rd week I had a severe leg pain ,so I went to GP yesterday and showed all my test report and tablet which I got from India . My doctor asked to STOP the tablet and booked my blood next Tuesday. I didn't take my tablet from today and I don't feel any pain as of now.

My Free T4 was in range -> its 1.31 (0.89-1.76)

TSH ->5.69 -> 0.270-5.350 (Hypothyroid)

Are you saying my level was not Borderline?:((( but why Indian doctors says as Borderline?? even here the GP Doctor says its borderline...

Am glad when you say its a easy fix ..coz this internet and the people I asked are scaring me like anything...

hi, i was diagnosed in 2014 and the NICE guidelines change often, so it may be that the normal range has changed. However, my last blood result TSH was 2.3 and they increased my dose as i get symptomatic. your at the very crest of the ranges so i would think by your next bloods you would be out of range.

have you had any symptoms? Palpitations, low mood, dry skin, fatigue?

its interesting how the management differs from country to country. The dose they have started you on is very very low. and it perplexes me why they told you to stop as it needs about 6 weeks to absorb.

if you haven't had your antibodies tested and a full adrenal profile, its likely you just have sub clinical hypothyroidism rather than full blown hashimotos, which is easily managed ☺

With the levels you have right now, i would honestly hold off ttc, until your properly medicated. to give your baby the best shot at it.

don't worry sweetness, it really isn't anything to worry about. ❤

I didn't had any major symptoms until last month. I have Palpitations, dry skin and tired sometimes .... My doctor asked me to stop for a week to test my blood again, he says your system have to be normal so we can have better results..

Ya the dose seems very low, i came to know only after I come here to UK.. In India they say as Border Line and they give very low dosage to start with and test again in 6 weeks..

I have no idea why I felt like chopping my legs last week while I was having the tablet. I was only crying and didn't drink anything so I can avoid Toilet.. oh poor me. I was cooking while sitting, My husband can cook but only he can eat and his food makes me stomach upset so I said No thank you.. :( :( but this week am OK, no muscle pain or tiredness...

I think I should take your word to hold off as of now.. I waited that many years with out knowing ,so its good to know things.. I just need to start with a healthy body ,so i will be stress free... Thanks anyways
