Hi.

You can still conceive naturally with endometriosis and if the endometriosis has been removed. I know it can come back but it really depends on your circumstances and if you are in a position of wanting to start a family etc. Have you discussed this with your doctor.

I got dignosed with endometriosis in July, it was a complete shock. I'm like you eat well, exercise regular which is probably why it was a shock. I think a healthy diet and training keeps the pain at ease.

Hope you can the answers you need. X

Hi

You are not alone a lot of women either have endo and don’t know or are diagnosed late. Unfortunately diet and exercise are no guard against this awful disease.

So much is unknown about why it occurs and there are a few ways that it can be treated. Basically treatment pathways depend on your symptoms and how they impact your life. My symptoms are low so I have just left it for now to pursue ivf.

Unfortunately it is not just a case of remove it and everything is fine. The removal process can be a very complicated surgery if the endo is on organs such as urinary system, bowel etc. If these organs are effected then only a bgse surgeon plus multidisciplinary team should attempt the surgery. Again unfortunately the extent of endo can only been seen on a laproscopy and the first one is usually done by a general gynae who can conpletely miss it due to lack of training and endo expertise.

In regard to fertility it depends where the endo is and what extent it is. If your tubes, ovaries and uterus are clear you should be able to conceive naturally.

If any drs tell you a hysterectomy is a cure or that if it’s removed it’s gone for good then take that as a warning that they don’t know endo.

Well! Hi, Christina! Don't get depressed or shocked. It's nothing to be afraid of... First of all, you should start consulting your doctor about it before delaying and have another second thought at least and go on with the medical treatment he or she recommends. Still, If you don't get any results...Don't be sadistic or hopeless. A year before I had a friend like you; she also got this endometriosis and she was unable to conceive... If you can't conceive so, it doesn't mean that you can't have kids. I got her suggested to a clinic in Ukraine for surrogacy. So, its nothing to be afraid of..Don't get anxious. Just stay calm and follow the procedure..You can have kids by every means..Don't take it wrong and hard that you can't conceive. I myself have a son by this surrogacy. I hope you'll be okay. Have a nice day...xoxo
