Advice needed

So if had the most awful nights sleep. I'm currently on week 2 of menopur as my follicles are growing very slowly. My dose was increased last week to double and then triple. My scan on Friday showed not much progress so have kept me on double dose as they are worried about ohss. In the night I woke up feeling really sick and extremely bloated. My chest was very tight and my left thigh was slightly numb. I went back to sleep and now feel slightly better. However still feel sick and bloated. Could this be the meds? Any advice?

Hi, yes, it could be caused by meds, but I'd advise you to consult your Dr, as it may be a criterion to stop treatment in order to eliminate any hazard to your health

I had very slow response to menopur was on 300. I was extremely bloated & uncomfortable didn't have any numbness though. They ended up scanning me & doing blood tests daily to keep a close eye on me. I would call your clinic & tell them your symptoms. They should see you & check everything. Peppermint tea helps the bloating doesn't taste great but was worth it to make things a bit more comfortable.

I was told that a tight chest could be a sign of OHSS so please get scanned and seen asap! I hope your body is responding ok and that your round will go ahead - I'm going to be starting menopur for my first round in about 2 weeks. Good luck xx
