I am so happy and wanted to share. I am 9w3d yesterday. Looking forward to get of meds next Tuesday!!! I am taken the Harmony blood test that checks for all things including telling you the sex of the baby! Anyone done this blood test. It is expensive but I am told the best most accurate non invasive test for any abnormalities. It is just a blood test nothing else. I am nervous as I did not do any extra test when I was pregnant for my son. But I am sure all will be well!

Hi big congratulations and lovely scan pic! I had the Harmony blood test at 10 weeks and got my results 2 weeks later, all clear I decided I wanted a surprise so did not want to know the sex. I just really wanted the reassurance all was well and if not then I would be able to prepare throughout my pregnancy xx

Oh fantastic!!! I am always noisy and like to plan...so unnecessarily ahead!! So we asked to know sex. But i am hoping for the best in the harmony test. Thanks so much!

Thanks so much! It is a blood test to test for any chromosome, downs and other abnormality that may 'unlikely' occur. It is the most accurate test and has absolutely no risky to the baby. Because it tests for x,y chromosome they can tell the sex of the baby with the blood test. It cost about £400. My consultant ordered it. But we only hope for the best result and will like to know the sex. 😉

I took the test as a package deal for two scans the test for £400 at a clinic in London.

Drs did the scan and were so detailed and conpletely reassured us. The 12 week scan with the nhs was uncomfortable and she only counted limbs and did the behind the neck measurement. At the clinic the dr spent 45minutes checking everything like blood through the heart valves, all major organs and she even found the ovaries firming at 12 weeks confirming the harmony gender result.

I was really impressed by the clinic and well worth the £400.

I did a bit of reasearch before doing it. It's the fetal clinic London and highly recommend them. The package deal was very good value. Good luck and congrats on the bfp x

I've had this test with both pregnancies, glad I did as I have peace of mind. Lots of places do it now, it is just a blood test so don't see the need to go to a particular place. I'm in the midlands so can recommend somewhere if local otherwise there lots that offer the test xx
