Staying positive...

So today I went for my day 7 scan and was told my follicles are not forthcoming well as expected ( 6m) and (10m) and my Gyne had to increase the follitrope from 225iu to 300iu. I am staying positive and hoping it would have grown better . Booked for another scan in couple of days. Will appreciate if anyone had experience this to tell me what to do in growing eggs.

I've heard that making sure your diet includes plenty of protein can really help with follicle growth, get some protein shakes if you struggle to eat enough. Drink plenty of water, maybe go and see a reproductive reflexologist who can help with stimulation of the ovaries? Good luck, I am sure upping the meds will help xxxx

Hi there, firstly this is very very common and 80% of us are not ready on day 7. I have been there twice so know exactly how you feel. To be honest apart from a hot water bottle there's not much that you can do. You will be amazed how much an extra few days helps.

Don't be too disheartened about the scan - it's amazing how much growth can happen in 2 days!! I was the same both times - 1st scan had follicles between 6 and 10mm and then 3 days later they were at the required 15mm stage!! Drink plenty of water, hopefully the increase in medication will give you a nice surprise in a couple of days! X

I had my day 7 scan and was told the same thing. Slow growing eggs. But just come back from my day 9 scan and everything is on track. 🤞🏻💪🏻

All I did was have a hot water bottle on my belly for 2 evenings. I'll continue this till eg gcollection

I'm in the same situation I went for day 8 scan & not stimulating enough so meds have been doubled until I go back on Friday, I've booked reflexology for tomorrow & hot water bottle for tonight x
