1st scan - in Love 💕

Hi everyone.

Today, at 6 weeks and 6 days we had our 1st scan. It was brought forward by a few days due to some spotting I've been having but everything looked amazing!!! My words not the doctor! But everything was measuring how it should be and we saw the tiny little flicker of a heartbeat almost instantly which was incredible! They printed off about 7 pictures of the blurry little bean too!

I feel so lucky to have got to this stage and know I'm not out of the woods yet but to know there is actual life growing inside me for the first time ever is a really amazing feeling.

The nurse told me that there was no obvious reason for the bleeding and that although its not normal it is common which has put my mind at rest slightly!

No morning sickness yet....not sure if Im happy or not about that?!!!

Thanks Button. Oh really...so still to come then maybe. All I've had so far is just really heightened sense of smell. And when I smell something not great, it makes me feel a bit queasy! xx

I felt queasy on and off and gagged at smells but then about 8 week I started with actual sickness mainly in the morning but sometimes in the evening also xx
