Terrified of collection tomorrow 😒

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone has had follicles as massive as mine and got any good eggs... on Friday I had my day 9 scan after 8 doses of stims and I have only 5 follicles in collectable range (I have low amh). They were 15.5mm, 21, 22.5, 24 and 24.5. I then had to stim another night and trigger on sat, as my clinic doesn't collect on weekends. I'm worried they were already massive so another stim and the trigger will have over matured them all and I've lost them! Before I even triggered yesterday I felt like I ovulated and I triggered last night and have completely dried up and have no CM at all.

I'm just terrified that I've lost follicles like last time.

Can big follicles be ok that size even if you have to continue to stim??

Sorry for the rambling post I've cried all morning 😒

Oh Hun I'm really sorry you're feeling so nervous. I'm afraid I tend to have the opposite problem in that mine are usually fighting to get big enough. I just want to wish you well for the morning and let you know you'll be in my thoughts. xxx

I think you'll be fine. You're taking some drugs to prevent ovulation so you won't have ovulated naturally. I had CM 7 and 4 days before retrieval and they told me that was nothing to worry about - again the drugs preventing the natural ovulation. My last scan, four days before retrieval, the biggest was 23 mm and I got 15 eggs that resulted in a whopping 8 high quality blastocysts, the first of which was placed back and made me pregnant (11 weeks tomorrow!). Try not to worry. Good luck!

Hi Orla9298. hope all goes/has gone with the egg collection. Make sure you have a good rest afterwards. Try not to worry about the CM and follicle sizes, as all is looking positive for a good egg collection. Keeping everything crossed for you. Diane

Thank you DianeArnold , I think I was just terrified and thinking the worst, I'm absolutely over the moon to have got 4, I totally didn't expect that. So fingers crossed to see what happens next after not making it to transfer last time xx

Clinic stuff should know what they`re doing.

Don`t worry, all will be fine.

Hope most of them`d be in good quality :)
