9 dp5dt and still a BFN. Test date in 2 days..

Hey,

Just a moan really. I know I shouldn't be testing early and I know it's only going to drive me crazy but nonetheless j have tested and got a BFN.

DH keeps sayings it's because I'm using cheap tests and telling me to wait for Friday (11dpt) and take a FRER.

Any lovely ladies tested negative at this stage and went on to a positive on test day. Baring in mind my test day is only 2 days away...

And does it make a difference that I'm using cheapo tests?

Is there still hope??

Hi Sarah,

There's always hope and yes the definitive test will be the beta test on day 11.

A lot of women do test day 8/9 onwards and get a BFP, but equally I have heard of some stories where they have tested a day or two earlier and got a BfN and then tested positive on the day.

If you're not experiencing any other negative symptoms then you may as well rest and relax and test on the proper day.

The chance may be smaller but still worth waiting and continuing your meds and fluids as normal x

It's weird, I'm not upset, just really indifferent which is strange considering how much we put or bodies through for the treatment. I suppose it will hit me with way way on Friday morning.

So very weird- I was sort of feeling that way too... Not quite indifferent but I was prepared for the result either way on the day of the test.

Unfortunately I wasn't prepared for the early bleeding or the look on my husbands face 😞

But all is well... I'm due to test in a couple of days and still clinging onto a bit of hope.

It's been a miracle so far so this would be the cherry on the cake!

I'm on progesterone suppositories twice a day.. doesn't that hold AF at bay until I stop taking them?
