Ovulation tracking
Using opks alone to track ovulation is not 100% reliable. Ideally you should back it up by taking your basal temperature everyday at the same time before you get up and chart the results. You should see a clear sustained rise in temperatures by at least three days which confirms that you have ovulated. You can back it up by monitoring other signs such as whether you have a patch of fertile cervical mucus. Once you have been doing this a few months you should see a pattern emerge in your cycles that will better give you an idea of when you ovulate, a window of a few days will be the best time to have intercourse. Solely talking about positive opks, I only get one every cycle so I'm not sure if it's normal to have four peak days... xx
Hi ytsrik1978. I believe the "AVA" monitors your temperature too, so I would take that into consideration too when deciding when your peak day is. good luck! Diane
