Waiting and waiting....

I was supposed to have my first scan tomorrow so I can start with the injections, but my period does not want to show up, it never happens! 🙄

Hi! I feel your pain ...

I never had regular periods and often absent periods due to pcos.

So the doctor put me on 2 Rounds of back to back microgynon pills...

However I started bleeding heavily after 1 pack and it continued for 4 Weeks!

I was then advised that what they actually want is the old uterine lining all gone! Hence they wait for a period.

So in the end when I came off the pills they just checked to see when the period stopped- and started me randomly on a short cycle IVF.

It's worked brilliantly so far and nothing's gone wrong... Best to contact your clinic if they are not aware- but don't panic!

As I've realised through this process there always seems to be a plan b,c and d! Even though they make it out to be very specific and rigid to begin with.
