This month’s guest speaker for Fertility Network UK's online chat is Amel Bouaraba from 24 Seven Fostering and will discuss ‘Long Term Fostering’.

Many children across the UK live with foster families for many years, often until their adulthood. The objective of planning for permanence is therefore to ensure that children have a secure, stable and loving family to support them through childhood and beyond and to give them a sense of security, continuity, commitment, identity and belonging. However according to statistics only 80% are accommodated ,this is due to a shortage in foster families across the UK.
