Lucky socks

Egg collection done this morning, wearing my lucky socks obviously 😉 I love it when they ask you "if you're ok with needles" before they stick the catheter in your hand. Really?! After x no. days of injecting myself 3-4 times a day, I think I'll manage!

14 eggs collected which I'm pretty happy with. Sadly last time a similar number were collected and didn't result in any good quality embryos at all, so am hoping things will be different this time.

Also very keen to avoid OHSS this time around so am drinking copious amounts of water, mint tea etc.

It's such a hard process, physically and mentally; I can't even bear to think about the outcome yet - books and Netflix will be my salvation for the next few days!

I hope everyone else is doing ok - especially any cycle buddies!
