DE costs

I know there must be quite a range but was just wondering if anyone could give us a broad idea of expected costs? We're not quite at this stage yet, we just want to explore all options!

Hi Charlene. You should try websites for maybe some of info you need. Fertilityfriends.co.uk/forum or try fertilityclinicsabroad.com

Our clinic is £3,600 for very basic ivf. Drugs on top of that cost at least £800-£1700. Then further costs are charged for everything from freezing eggs to additional procedures. I think that clinics do vary considerably so this may not reflect your clinic, but thought it might give you some sort of idea x

Really variable, depending upon which clinic you choose and whether you are eligible for 'packages' where, for example, you pay out a larger one-off amount but are covered for more than one attempt.

I would definitely recommend spending some time on the Net as most clinics will have a pricing structure available on their websites.

Good luck! Wishing you all the best x

Have a look at access fertility DE packages that's what we are using xx

We're going abroad - it wasn't because it was cheaper. Our clinic is regulated through our hospital and others in London and Liverpool. I think the cost does vary if you find your own clinic abroad or stay attached to a UK clinic.

Our choice to go abroad was due to speed and generally the way the process worked with our hospital. I know there are lots of private clinics in the U.K. that are just as good. Going abroad wasn't about annoymous donors for us. We'll be open from the start.

There's a great book called 'Having your baby through Egg Donation' I still read it but I'm stuck at the chapter called "pregnant with DE baby" I don't seem to be able to get passed there yet!

I can message you our full costs if you like xx

Have a look at 'our ivf journey' as well as they have their costs set out and links with a clinic in the Czech Republic x
