Most areas won't fund you hun if you or a partner have children from a previous relationship. its a very unfair system.
Wishing you lots on luck on your journey. X
Will very much depend on your ccg policy sadly it is very much a post code lottery some will some won't. I hate the way it varies from county to county.
We were refused ivf nhs funding on the grounds I've got a child from a previous relationship. Although my hubby has no children. We looked into egg sharing which is a good option if you get turned down and you're under 35.
Best to contact your ccg to see what their policy so you are at least prepared.
Wishing you the very best and hope you get some good news X
i was told i wasnt allowed to have funding as my partner has a son from a previous relationship but i spoke to the centre manager and she said as long as he dosent live with us they were fine to go ahead with it
Hi, my partner has 2 children from a previous relationship which would not have affected our funding, we didnt get funded due to him having a vasectomy after his 2nd child. we had it reversed and went private. however, I was told at the time that if us ttc was due to issues with me, we WOULD have been funded in spite of vasectomy and reversal. good luck! xxx
