How often to have sex?

I know this is a really personal question lol but how often do you guys have sex when you are ovulating? We've tried once a day, twice a day, every other day.... nothing seems to work. I can't find any advice online as to the optimal amount of times you should have it and wondered if anyone else had heard what it should be?

Well if there's anywhere you can ask this question then this is it!! We got told every 2 to 3 days regular sex is good! Obviously up to you guys but maybe try not to be too mechanical, just when the feeling takes you there!! Good luck!xx

I would say every other day. But try not to have sex only on the days you are ovulating and have regular sex throughout the month to keep sperm in fresh supply!xx

Thanks I was starting to think I was doing something wrong and needed to have sex 5 times a day of something!! Good to know what we are doing is on the right track xx

Nhs says every two to three days.

Every other day. Sperm needs time to "recover" otherwise quality is not as good

Before we realised we had issues I used an ovulation app on my phone. You enter details about your last few periods and then it works out your 6 day fertile window.

It sends you a message suggesting that you should have sex on particular days which is helpful (if a bit strange).

My OH found it hilarious that I would point my phone at him and say 'right the app says we need to have sex now so stop watching grand designs 😂 😂😂'

We were told 2/3 times a week throughout the month by a fertility consultant. We did go through an obsessive everyday phase for a while by my god it was stressful and mechanical! This feels much more manageable and enjoyable.
