Hi everyone, so I had egg retrieval and transfer earlier than expected and now looking at my schedule I don't know when I should be testing, is it 2weeeks after retrieval or transfer?. Help!!!

hi, I would say two weeks post transfer as I understand it your body won't produce the chemical detected by the test until 2 week into the actual pregnancy. Our clinic said not to test yourself as it can give false readings. I've said I won't but I bet I cave in when it comes to my turn! Best of luck xx

Hello there, my offical test date was due 2 weeks from the actual transfer date. I hope this helps.

Clinics can vary slightly on this. Our first clinic said 14 days from ET but as it would have been a Saturday they said to test on day 13. Second clinic said 17 days from ET. No idea why it was different, just consultant preference I guess. Try to resist testing until OTD.

I would say 14 days from ET but I was 17 days from ET (which was torture)... sometimes it depends on if you had a 2 or 5 day transfer but I would keep trying the clinic.
