Day 5 of Merional - side effects.

Hi Ladies

I'm on day 5 of Merional today - 4 vials to 1 water.

I just wanted to give you an update on how I'm feeling and if anybody else has had the same.

Headaches: Really awful headache for the first 2 days and now just tender.

Tiredness: I'm absolutely shattered even though I've been sleeping.

Pain in my legs: This feels like really bad cramp or muscle tightness in the back of my thighs and my bum, soooooo sore! The only this goes is if I keep moving.

Has anyone else had the pain in their legs? Should I be worried?

The Injections themselves have been ok - first day was tough, but it does get easier.

I start cetrodite tomorrow morning so I'll be doing 2 injections per day - back at the hospital Monday for checks.

Hi Crocodile80. Don't know about the leg cramps, but headache is a common side effect from using Merional, as it works on the pituitary gland in the brain. Hopefully that will settle down once you start with the Cetrotide tomorrow. Good luck! Diane

i was on Merional i had a few headaches and was tired but not many other side effects. i would speak to the clinic about the leg cramps to make sure everything is ok. i found very few people was on Merional as i dont think it is as common but i responded great too it and got 37 eggs collected Good Luck xx

Hi.... i know its late to reply but for future benefits. ...i had pain in my legs after going on Merional .... i used to tak 6×2water over 18 days ...but unfortunately it did not work for me fenerated 3 eggs only and non fertilised

hi meral i took puregon 300 for 6 days i got 2 eggs and a third one but small .i started today on merional .can i ask u why ur eggs didnt get fertelised??
