Had my 5day ET this morning with a BBC grade embryo which I'm happy with just feel so strange now like I don't dare move or cough or pee! Anyone else feel this way?! Any tips to survive till test day?! x
TWW time! : Had my 5day ET this morning... - Fertility Network UK
TWW time!
I'm not yet at the 2ww. Mines will either be tomorrow or Saturday. I will find out tomorrow.
Just wanted to reassure you that what your feeling is totally normal. I've read a few posts before of girls feeling exactly the same and they've been told don't worry once the embryo is in its not going to fall out. So try not to worry about that.
I've no tips on how to survive until test day. I'm sure some other ladies will. I know that's going to be so hard but my plan is to just keep myself busy. I plan on having daily walks and meeting with friends for lunch, going to cinema. Just little things.
Sending you lots of luck xxx
Sorry meant to say my transfer will be tomorrow or Saturday xxx
Lots of luck for your transfer won't be long then! Is this ur first round? It is mine thanks for ur reply it's nice to know I'm not the only crazy one! Walks will be good I'm gonna try take my dogs most days but for now its feet up and Netflix hehe X
Thank you 😊
Yeah this is my first round.
Feet up with Netflix sounds great!! I will be doing plenty of that myself when I'm in the 2ww 😊 lol xxx
Feet up, Netflix, dog walks, lots of coffe and lunch with friends, long lies and plan some fun stuff to do with your partner at weekend so have things to look forward too. I also did things I had been meaning to do for ages like sort out photos etc. soooo exciting though and test day be here before you know it..lots of luck🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀xxx
Oh ps I also found some dead cheesy easy watch rubbish on channel 4 od...married at first sight..rubbish but pasted the time and required no brain cells xx
Hey Vic77 thank you so much for your reply especially with all you are going through right now, love the advice! Especially do stuff I haven't had time to do sorting out photos is deft on my list as well also nice to look through and reflect on all the fun things in our lives already! I love rubbish easy watching TV like that I've watched a few series of married at first sight already I found it strangely addictive hehe X
I know I am ashamed to admit it but I loved married at first sight..watched all us series then went onto Australian one. Here another thing we did that I mentioned on here was my husband write fun surprise activities and things we could do to laugh on blue bits of paper and I did same on pink.we put them all in a big bowl and I picked a blue one one day then he picked pink. It really helped us have something to focus on each day. We also at the same time crossed a day off on a chart.silly ideas but really helped. I love to help people so what better way to make me feel better😀😀😀😀good luck with 2ww everything crossed for you xxxxx
You seem like a lovely person I love helping people too that's what made me become a nurse! That's such a sweet idea you guys did, I'll have to put it to my DH might be quite nice to carry on as well regardless to treat each other such a difficult thing to go through this IVF business! I have to say I also have watched all those series and even googled the couples that stayed together to see if they were still together if you know what I mean coz I'm mega nosey hehe thanks for the luck it means a lot x
Lol lol lol I googled that too😆😆😆ahh I have a job that is about support also 😀difficult when u feel you need the support!!! You know I thought about us continuing on in some way with my idea too especially through this difficult time..enjoy your chill time xxx
Hehe ok glad I'm not the only nosey googler! I think I would carry on with the cards it's such a cute idea I agree about the job it is hard when you have to constantly put a smile on your face when sometimes you don't feel like it but it's also great for putting things in perspective when you see others struggling makes me stop feeling sorry for myself sometimes x
pMauz congratulations on the transfer.
All you can do now is relax. I have just been through my 2ww and kept myself busy at work and at night times go for walks with my partner or watch a comedy .
Anytime I started to worry would give myself a few seconds to acknowledge the feeling but then get back to my task or listen to music .
Please don't symptom spot or go near Google at all
If in doubt call the doctor.
Just take care of yourself and do your best to keep yourself upbeat and "normal"
Best of luck with the journey
Hugs xx
Hey thanks San1510 and massive congratulations on your recent BFP! Thanks for the advice all sounds really good deft gonna try my best to stay away from the dreaded google I keep trying to remind myself everyone has a different experience so it doesn't matter anyway! I think the worry will be constant but I'll try to stop myself light hearted TV is deff the way to go! X
