Hi ladies,

Need some advise on how much activity I can do during the 2ww. I'm currently 7dp 5dt. I want to clean my house but I'm worried about what I can and can't do.

Advise please!

Xx

Don't worry about your house. That little one inside you is far more important.

Chill out, relax and look after yourself xx Good luck

I was told no housework, hoovering or ironing and if in doubt over whether to do something to not do it. Light housework is probably ok, I hate housework so I used it as a very good excuse to leave it. Perhaps your other half or another family member could give the house a quick hoover and clean the loo?

Ok in that case oops! I've hoovered today & lifted heavy shopping from sainsburys. I now feel a bit guilty. Going to rest from now on & take it easy. My cramping has stopped so I thought I could get back on with things but started getting twinges during my trip to the supermarket. Little bit worried now. 😳

It probably won't make any difference so try not to worry. If it was a natural conception you won't know and could be knocking back alcoholic drinks, bungee jumping, weight lifting etc. As I hate housework I listened to that bit of advice intently. If your clinic didn't say anything perhaps mine were being over cautious.

Hope you get a BFP.

Def no heavy lifting. Some people said take it very easy others said better to keep busy and take gentle exercise keep blood flowing to your uterus. X

Hey Nat,

I was told no housework when I'm in 2WW. I was advised to keep active but with gentle exercise like a nice relaxing walk or yoga.

I was told no heavy lifting and was actually advised to take time off work due to having a heavy job so this is what I will be doing 😊

My 2WW will fall in November so I hope it's not too cold for walks lol

Good luck 🍀 xxx

Thanks amanda86. I've actually had period like cramps this morning & a bit of brown spotting (sorry if tmi). Been very upset & my DH sat with me to comfort me before going off to work. Feeling very tearful this morning that it might all be over. 😪

I had cramping during my 2ww and we now have a beautiful 7 month old girl. Think the cramping is normal. Lots of ladies also get a bit a bleeding during 2ww it could be implantation bleeding. I know it's hard but take it easyand relax, try not to do too much googling, it will drive you mad. When is your test day?

Thanks Gemma ur reply means a lot & so happy for u that u have ur daughter 😊. Ur words are encouraging & help me a lot in what has been a very emotional start to the day. I haven't been given an OTD they just said to me 2 weeks or wait & see if u get ur period. Not sure when to test. It's been 8dpt 5dt.

Sorry to go off subject a little, hope you dont mind me asking, I am a little new to all this! What does 7dp and 5dt mean? Sure it should be obvious, but I'm not quite sure!!! Best of luck for your bfp xx

I was told to test 14dp 5dt, but we actually waited until 16dp as we were away for 14dp and we didn't want bad news while we were away. Luckily for us it wasn't bad news though. I would try and hold on for a few more yet (even though it's hard) if I was you just to make sure. How's the cramping and bleeding? Fingers crossed for you

Thanks Gemma. Cramping has softened a bit now but I have had a little bit of a pinkish/ brownish tinge when I wipe. I also have a headache so taking it easy today. Watching some tv to to distract myself. I just hope this is just a passing thing & not my period that's due in a few days time. Xx

I did have a little bit of bleeding when I was about 7 weeks but all was ok. It's not always bad news
