Day 1, IVF round 1

Hiya did the first injection tonight, it wasn't as bad as I thought. I'm crossing my fingers for a text book, smooth process. Any tips?

We are on day 8 -found alternating thighs has stopped me bruising. Still not been able to inject myself so hubby is doing them but it's made it something we do together so been nice xx good luck hun xx

I'm injecting into my stomach, my husband was there for moral support but I managed it, phew! It went okay, just stung a bit after...I think alternating sides sounds like a good idea, thank you

Good luck! I did all mine in my thighs, remember to keep swapping sides otherwise it can get a bit sore. I used a ice pack on my legs before I did them as well. Biggest bit of advice I got on here is to take each step as it comes. X

Having gone through two cycles the only advice I could say is take each day one at a time. We hit a few bumps along the way and it felt like the end of the world at the time but you manage and deal with it somehow. Good Luck 🍀🍀

Thank you. Last month it felt like this huge mountain I wouldn't be able to climb, but actually now we are here it is just one day at a time, one injection at a time and it hasn't taken over my every thought and I have been okay. Fingers crossed it says like this!

I finished my injections last week....I pinched my stomach a little bit harder so it took the pain away from giving myself an injection in the stomach 😁 X

Hi, I'm on day 2 off injections today (my second cycle) it's not as bad as you would think giving yourself injections, I was told to sit down and pinch fat to inject, I find it easier to stand up and inject. I didn't feel it going in. Yeah like the others said alternate sides each day, make sure there are no air bubbles and relax and take it easy, when your scan booked for? I'm due for a scan in 3 days time to check folicles, if all well I will be introducing another drug so it will be 2 injections a day. Hopefully do my last stimming injection on the 28th of July.
