Well, I promised myself I wouldn't do this but it turns out I have no self control and I caved on Monday when I got a faint positive on a cheapy test in the evening.
Cut to this morning and the FRER you can see. I know it's early days. And I know I should have waited. But it turns out I'm hopeless and weak 🙈
Not sure how happy I'm supposed to be at this stage. OTD is 17 (yes, 17!!) dp2dt (Monday 13th).
So... The millions dollar question that no one ever knows the answer to is... do we think this is reliable at this stage? Am I allowed to get a little excited??

I think it's fairly safe to say congratulations! My transfer was on the 10th of the month (5dt) and OTD was on the 20th, so why shouldn't your result be just as reliable?
Yes! But that's only the first wait of many... I guess this process has all taught us to take one step at a time, though. Good luck on many more positives to come!
Trying to relax and enjoy getting into the 2nd trimester but there is always that fear.... Don't not much feel preggers at the mo but they say this is supposed to be normal 🙈

Hi nd - It's really hard to say because I honestly have no idea if it's just been luck or if the things that I did have made a difference but they made me feel better anyway!
I ate the pineapple core from the day of transfer for five days and a handful of brazils every day for a week. I drank lots of room temperature water and ate lots of warm foods especially in the first week (soups, stews etc) the idea being that cold foods take longer for the body to process using energy that the embies need, I had a hot water bottle on my tummy every night and the day of transfer to keep my tummy nice and warm but I didn't use it other than to keep my feet warm after transfer. Anything else... I had a week off work before and after transfer. I spent a lot of time in bed/on the sofa but got out for a walk every day or went for lunch/dinner with DH. I drank a pint of milk a day (couldn't face anymore)... I tried to keep my feet warm but my feet are always cold!! Oh and a woman from my DH's work made me a fertility bracelet with different stones for healing/fertility, my friends also bought me one and I wore both for a week and I did two sessions of acupuncture before transfer and one a week after!
That's pretty much it. I made myself a list of things to eat/drink every day and put one on my bedside table and one on the fridge for DH. Like I say I have no idea if any of the above works, I just know that I felt like I was making a contribution towards it by looking after myself.

I am about to start my first accupunture session next week so let's hope that makes a difference to either our last 2 iuis, or our up coming ivf! Really pleased for you. Again thanks so much for replying back. I am actually eating Brazil nuts every day, I have cut suger out (although this has been hard to do!) I only have decaff tea now and try and drink 1 litre of water a day. Xx
I tried to cut out sugar but it was just too hard! I needed a bit of cake or chocolate for a pick me up now and again! I would aim for 2 litres of water a day if you can, I swear by it to help my moods and keep headaches away... they recommend 3 when you're having treatment so if you can increase a little it won't come as much of a shock if you have to go down that road.
I didn't find giving up sugar in my tea hard as I have found drinking water lol!!! I will increase my in take! Hoping this is the year we get some good news enjoy your pregancy and now it's time to celebrate and eat some cake xx
Im ok thanks. After worrying and complaining about cramping all day everyday since Saturday, today I'm not cramping at all and I'm beside myself that it's stopped! Just can't win haha

Oh I know it's so hard; the women who cramp/bleed are terrified, the women who don't immediately think it's failed It's such a cruel process but hopefully it's all worthwhile!

When is OTD jamjar? I'm not going to lie it doesn't make you less neurotic if you test early... it's a whole different kind of crazy! But I blame the nurses for being cruel and making me wait 2 and a half weeks
I've just seen your post from yesterday, has the bleeding stopped? I didn't have any implantation bleeding but that also made me worry - can't win!

Congratulations amazing news, we tested from 7dp 5dt and it just got stronger each day. The hospital won't accept a positive result before the official test day then the three week wait starts for a scan! It's all so exciting X X X X
Period started today which for once is a good thing. Will start the oestrogen tomorrow. Consultant rang me today and actually seemed quite positive about our one little blastocyst so fingers crossed. x
Haha yeah just on day 2 of the gonadotropin now. It seems to be going really quickly! Would you mind in boxing me all your tips you've been saying about doing please! It was a interesting read & I'd like to try anything! Hope all is well with you Xx

Well I'm driving myself slowly insane. My brain hasn't quite caught on yet. I tested again tonight 🙈 The line was stronger though so it made me a little more content. I'll probably test in the morning. Then I have no more until I pick one up on Sunday for Monday. OR I'll just buy 157 more tests to get me through the weekend. Wish I'd invested in a HPT company before we started this! 😂 x x x

Congrats on your BFP , i hope it all goes well. I started testing from 9dpo so i think you showed considerable constraint lol.
The Pink`s are opk`s and the Blue and Green are hcg. As im a poas adict i`ve just done a Clearblue digital and once again BFN. I`m pretty sure i`m out this month now.
I'm so sorry webchick. It's such a cruel and unfair journey. Wishing you lots of luck that you get your BFP. I feel so lucky to have ours with first time ICSI but after ten years ttc and lots of BFNs I feel like it's our time... hang in there lovely x

Bit late to the party but congratulations on your BFP.. I was also tempted to test early but stayed strong this time. It is good to see the strength of the test increasing over time too - a good sign. Good luck with the next wait for your scan X
