I'm relieved really as I found the long protocol a emotional roller coaster lol, I'm wondering if you can harvest as many eggs on short protocol?

In the high range for amh results but going to have short protocol.
Hi I am on the short protocol and on Friday they collected 21 eggs and tomorrow I'm going in for egg transfer so keep your chin up and try stay positive. Good luck 🍀 X
Hi lisa, Wow 21 eggs that's brilliant, I only retrieved 13 eggs when I did long protocol so maybe I will get more. How was the whole process? Did you have any side effects from the injections? Good luck for Fri x
I was on short protocol and had 22 eggs collected xxx
Hi leanne, that's a good amount of eggs. If you don't mind me asking- why was you put on short protocol? Xx
I was on short protocol to and had 31 eggs collected. I had 11 blastocysts frozen on day 6 as I couldn't have a fresh cycle due to high risk ohss (I didn't get it and was completely pain free within hours of egg collection) xx
Gosh that's brilliant Sophie, I'm really surprised that most people seem to have lots of eggs with short protocol. What dose was you injecting? Usually you feel uncomfortable after being over stimulated- your lucky. When are you planning on having eggs transfered? I just can't wait to get started it's been 2 years since my last icsi cycle and I'm feeling a lot more positive now. Xx
I have polycystic ovaries so I was put on the lowest dose of medication I was on merionel and cetrotide I think that's how there spelt Haha. I did feel bloated up until egg collection but felt really good afterwards I think my body felt received to get them out lol. I had 1 failed natural fet in July last year but I new it had failed everything was just wrong they had trouble getting the embryo in ect. Because I had no medication at all I could try again the month after again natural no pessaries either and I got a positive I tested 8dp6dt and got the strongest line ever, I'm now 26 weeks 😊. I still have 9 embryos frozen to.
When will you be having you be starting your cycle? Xx
