The time of day that you test makes a huge difference if you are testing before official date. You have to test first thing in the morning, otherwise it may not show up. It's happened to me before - I had a v faint line in the morning but when the doctor tested just a few hours later, there was nothing. I had to retest a week later.

Tamtam don't give up yet, it may be tooooo early, also I understood that you should do it using your first pee in the morning. Try again in a couple of days. Until af arrives it's not over. Big hugs

I second what everyone else has said. Also makes a difference what brand you test with at that early stage. Make sure it's a sensitive one that lets you test very early and make sure you use first urine of the day. In the early days HGC doubles every day so a day makes a big difference and I have read that it isn't strong enough until 9dp5dt. I hope you're one of the stories we hear of false negatives x

I always say that if everyone could get a BFP after a week then (unless someone was playing a cruel joke) it would only be the dreaded 1 week wait! It's too early to test. I know it's really hard but try to keep positive.

Has your spotting stopped? Or is it just the same?

The brown was hardly worth mentioning it was 2 5 day blasts so I assumed i was already 12dp5dt my otd is sat but nurses said test Friday I am on gestone so probablly what's holding off the bleed 😢

I too have personally been down that road with my last fresh IVF cycle so I can totally sympathize with you but with that being said, my friend who gave birth to TRIPLETS 5 months ago also did a pregnancy text the day before and it read negative. Makes you think when there was 3 babies cookin in there! Just don't lose all hope yet but I know it's easier said than done. Miracles do happen! Good luck and wishing you the best!

How many tries have you had? How are you feeling now? I bleed on my last try after we got a BFP and it is very upsetting but there are stories out there that are positive.

Other than angry and numb i am ok. Just getting on with it. That's was a 3rd fresh cycle. I didn't bleed at all just no implantation yet again.

Perhaps it's just not my time yet.

Maybe one day or not.

Sorry to hear it didn't work out, Tamtam. Did you get enough eggs for a frozen cycle? I guess all you can do now is get your body ready for the next try by looking after yourself properly. Make sure you eat well, rest lots, hydrate and go for walks (or something else that can help clear your head). Going for walks with your partner could also be a good idea, it gives you a good opportunity to talk, which is important when something like this happens. It can be easier to open up on a walk, this is what I find anyway.

And enjoy a few glasses of wine over Christmas while you still can!
