IVF in Scotland?

Is anyone having private IVF in Scotland, either Edinburgh or Glasgow? And if so, which clinic are you using and what does it cost?

Hi there, now we didn't have private treatment but we had our first attempt through the NHS at the Glasgow Royal and both found it really good there! They put millions of ££ into the ACU and everything is brand new. New lab and equipment etc. The Drs and nurses are also really lovely and my cycle went well first attempt. Can not complain at all. Testing in a few days. I would highly recommend the GRI. If we were to pay private we would go there again. xx

Just had a look at the cost and its around £ 2700 - £ 3000 if you pay private. That was the cost 2-3 years ago. xx

We attend the GCRM in Glasgow. Unfortunately we have never had any embryos to freeze, so we have had to have fresh cycles. Cost is about £4000 including the drugs which you pay to a seperate company. I would recommend them. Hope that helps
