Hi all, i have just joined the forum. Myself and my husband have been trying to conceive for coming on 4 years!. I have endometriosis and i have recently had this lazered ( 3rd time) of which was on my left ovarie as well as a cyst removed from my right ovarie. My consultant also completed follicle drilling to aid with ovulation. On a monthly basis i complete day 21 bloods etc.
im on a journey to loose weight too in order to get treatment kn the nhs ie iui and ivf. Since October i have lost 1st and 3lbs!. Only 2 and 11lbs to go.
However i was wondering if there was anything i could be doing alongside what is already in place. Any tips or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hello. Hope your ok. With the weight loss. I really found a small plate helped for food as you still got a whole plate not not massive. Portion control. Also drink water before you eat to. And exercise. And eating fruit that end in berry. Except strawberrys. Hope this helps a little. good luck. x
Hi! I've also just joined and suffer from endometriosis....it sucks eh?
I've started acupuncture and made lots of changes to my diet (cutting down on red meat, wheat and dairy) as these are meant to feed the endo. That's fantastic you've lost so much weight in such a short time, well done! I guess the only advice I can give is to keep doing what your doing and make sure you're still getting plenty of nutrients whe dieting. I've been taking super green supplements (from Holland & Barrets) as well as a multivitamin and drinking loads of water. Wish you all the best in your journey xx
My doctor recommended a gluten free diet for me, I'm not a full blown coeliac but increasingly links are being made between gluten and infertility/miscarriage- especially in the US. A gluten free diet also encourages me to eat more veggies. Wishing you the best of luck. C
Thank you all for your advice and tips. Much appreciated. Its been a long journey and i cant really see light at the end of the tunnel as yet but im maintaining a positive outlook. Good luck on all your journey too.
