Hi ladies i was wondering is long journeys by car can cause problem in my early stage of pregnancy as i am planning to go to Scotland for a couple of days by car which will be around 5 hours journey. I have got my positive and bit worried whether i should travel or not. Any advice and experience will be much appreciated xxx

Hi. You should be fine. Make sure you take regular breaks and keep your fluids up enjoy your break! Diane
When I was 6 weeks pregnant we went on holiday to Scotland by car from Norfolk!! We were in the car for 14 hours. We had a lot of stops for toilet breaks, drinks and food and I was fine

I'm now 23 weeks pregnant and have flown twice since my car journey too.
All is good!!
I went from Cornwall to Scotland last week I'm 9weeks pregnant and I was OK lots of breaks and strolls it was worth the drive for the relaxation just enjoy x
