Awwww (Big Hug) Hopefully it will go quick for you... :( Can you not find some money to get a private treatment done? x

Oh that's horrible poor you. People not going through this haven't got an clue how hard it is being in this situation. What is happening in October? Anytime u need a chat I'm here Hun . X x x

I get to try again Jess. Thanks for the offer I may well take it up. We could do MrsM but I'd rather keep that in reserve so if all else fails. X

Have u considered egg sharing? In return for half your eggs you free or reduced priced ivf depending on the clinic. That way you can go private and speed things up. My husband and I are doing that as we can't get nhs funding and can't afford to pay for it either. Nothing worse than waiting around :( All the best with everything Jess x x x

It's a nice idea but I've got a high amh so not many eggs only got 5 last time. Work improved and 6 months really isn't that long xx

Shame. Glad work improved you don't need extra stress .6 months will soon be around before you know it. In between do some things for u when you've the time before the treatment starts :) you never know you may fall naturally. My mums friend tried for over 10 years had ivf a few times (this was over 25 years ago obviously ivf has come along way since then) and they were told they couldn't have children. So they gave up and she fell pregnant 3 times naturally and had 3 beautiful children. There's always hope X x x

Another nice thought but I had my Fallopian tubes removed so it'd be am immaculate conception. X

Sorry Hun I hope I didn't upset you. I've got all this to come with ivf :( nervous and excited cos I hate trying and getting no where. Never mind I'm sure we will both end up with babies and it'll all be worth it the end.:) X x x

No I'm not upset. A lot of people have said the same thing it's a little frustrating more than anything. Let us know how it all goes. Waiting is bad but once it starts it goes fast. For me I found that once it had started it was just nerve racking. Xx

I am in the same situation as you, just had my tubes removed and still get the comments that 'don't give up, one day you might just fall pregnant'.

I just calmly explain that 30-40% of infertile people do not actually have any visible medical issue: those are the ones that often 'fall pregnant' when they are no longer trying. For the 60-70% of us that clearly have a medical issue that prevents pregnancy, it is impossible. I find it easier now to just explain to people why this doesn't apply to me.

I tend to do the same. It's just frustrating. Have they said when you can try your frozen cycle yet? Hoping that I get a positive the next time of course but also hoping I'll get enough to freeze too just incase.

Best of luck! Hopefully I'll have some good news to share too. X

Thanks that's really kind of you I will def keep you posted. Please let me know how u get on too. Just gotta hang on in there till next month and our consultant will refer our ivf egg sharing. Not sure how long it'll take but at least I will feel happier knowing the ball is rolling in the right direction:) I'm sure nerves will kick in as ivf approaches and that's when I will feel so grateful for this site. Be lovely to share and talk to someone whose been through ivf . I hope we can support each other through this hard time X x x
