IVF options

I moved to Barnsley last year to set up home with my partner of 5 years. My only option to have children is IVF, I have just found out that we don't fit the criteria as he has a daughter from a previous relationship. When i was in Wales and found out my tubes were blocked, the criteria was different, and IVF was offered to me and my ex-husband, but this caused the marriage break down. Now I feel like I have had my heart broken twice, the hospital did not give me any other options or point me down a different route, surely there must be other options out there? Would appreciate any information if anyone has come up against this situation.
