Does anyone know how long it takes to find a match? I'm going to do an egg share ivf.

Hi im doing egg share on my second IVF cycle if my frozen embryos don't work but I think the egg share is different to what you are doing. I am giving half of my eggs away to research to help the clinics find cures for for different things.

I will be giving my half my eggs to someone that can not produce them. I don't know how long it all takes though. I don't know if it is worth me freezing the rest of my half of eggs as I don't know how many I will have ?

Are you using the rest of your eggs for IVF. No you will not know how many eggs you have until after the egg collection procedure. But you will be able to freeze your eggs as long as the fertility clinic your at does this.

This is amazing. I am 29 and will be doing my first Ivf cycle this month. I fear that my eggs are not good and that I may need donor eggs. I think that it's great that you're looking to help someone. Happy new year to you!

Thanks Danielle and to you too. Just a horrid waiting game isn't it. Unsure of how long it all take and to juggle work and stuff x
