Hi everyone, I am feeling like I have... - Fertility Network UK
Hi everyone, I am feeling like I have achieved a lot already, been doing my own injections has got to be the biggest hurdle to get over
Hi. And so you should be! Always a scary prospect having to do your injections. Well done! Diane
Hi Diane, I know I am now on my 9th injection and I don't even get any bruises either, does this mean they are getting done properly or just the fact some people do bruise and some don't?
I just wanted to ask you, if you have already been pregnant, do you have a better chance at concieveing through IVF as I have been pregnant 9 years ago but it stuck in my tube and the surgeon had to remove my tube and the embryo. That is why I need IVF, they bypass the other tube
Hiya
Stop worrying!! You're doing a great job - the jabs can be some ladies worst nightmare, you've done brilliantly. Dont look for every part of the cycle to have side effects and symptoms as for some ladies, they don't feel any different til near the end of their cycle.
In weeks of injecting, I only ever used to get 3 or 4 bruises - I never knew what I'd done differently to cause them and they didn't happen often. Guess if you're normally susceptible to bruise easily, you will when injecting but otherwise, enjoy your tummy looking its normal colour!!
I have also been pregnant naturally a few times, not for 5 years now, but my consultants have implied that the fact my body could conceive naturally, and in one case, actually carry a baby full term, is a positive thing in IVF - I take the positives where I can get them!!
Keep doing what you're doing xxx
