Feeling a mix of emotions! All 5 embryos are being thawed on Monday ready for transfer on Thursday.

I've been extremely positive throughout our cycle even when it was poorly with OHSS which is why my embryos were frozen.

I feel anxious at the moment the closer it gets, which I guess is normal. Any body else feel the same? I'm carrying on as normal giving myself a few treats along the way. Don't like to think to far ahead my motto 'one day at a time' this had worked so far.

Wishing everyone else positive vibes x :)

Hi Hannah, good luck to you. Does all 5 have to be thawed then? I had OHSS and my embryos are in the freezer until my next cycle but I did wonder if they thaw the best one or all of them? x

Hi Crysyal, at the clinic where we are they thaw them in batches of 5! When I had my eggs removed they picked the best embryos over the 2 days and froze them as the others wouldn't survive. So here's hoping they are strong little things.

I hope your feeling better, I've found this 3 month wait worth it as I now feel loads better and healthy and ready for the next step. Wishing you lots of luck too :) xx

Did they make you wait 3 cycles? It looks as though it differs depending on each hospital x

Yes it does differ, my consultant recommended 3 cycles. Hopefully it will be worth the wait. :) x

I know its annoying cos you get so near and then have to wait....but....I wanted to die when I had OHSS it was awful and I have to remember how bad I felt cos the last thing I would have wanted was a full bladder for the transfer! Good luck and let me know how it goes x
