Low PAPP-A and additional screening

Hi, I had a call today following the combined screening to say all good but they’d picked up a low PAPP-A level. This means a 10% higher risk of pre-eclampsia or smaller baby. The midwife assured me it’s quite common (they pick up a few times/week) but naturally I’ve looked it up and it can also mean preterm birth or mid trimester miscarriage. So now I’m a little worried - I get extra screening from 20 weeks… but has anyone else had this? Success stories? X

I don’t have any experience of this but have read it’s super common in Ivf pregnancies. I know a friend had this and has a healthy baby now. Hope others can offer some proper reassurance soon. X

thanks for the feedback - hadn’t heard about the commonality with ivf so that’s great to know 👍 x
