Asked for IVF referral... what's next?

Hi everyone,

I am just seeking some information from people who have been through IVF with severe endo or doing this journey right now.

I just talked to my GP surgery and asked them to refer me for IVF after consulting with an endo specialist.

I am 31 with severe endo, frozen pelvis and previous ectopic pregnancy plus low ovarian reserve...

Things don't look really good but I'm hoping for the best.

So, now that GP said he will make the referral what happens next? I'm super nervous already about how I'm going to handle it mentally.

I've checked the NHS website about IVF treatment and it left me feel uncomfortable when I saw the risks (ectopic pregnancy, endo flare-up after treatment).

Is anyone in the same situation?
