Looking for IVF advice

Im after advice on how to choose IVF clinic. There are so many online and I am struggling to spot what looks like the better companies vs not so good.

I am 34 and been trying for 2 years.

My BMI is higher than it should be. I have some cysts on my ovaries but I do not have PCOS (all hormone levels are fine).

I have regular fertility acupuncture and I avoid ‘damp’ foods such as dairy and starchy things.

Any advice on what my next steps should be would be appreciated.

Hi there. I've got a thing to share. I actually this time round I have done acupuncture for 5 months before treatment. My acupuncturist has had a lot of success stories. So I thought I’d try it. It’s made me feel more relaxed and not as anxious. I also drank alot of pomegranate juice this time after reading up that it’s beneficial with high vitamin c. I know some things can be myths but doesn’t hurt to try. Also I changed the vitamin supplements. I didn’t have any vital dha last time. But it’s important for omega. I use pregnacare too. I also bought a bottle of her 0-12 weeks pregnancy supplements to support the growth in transfer. They are a tad expensive but I wanted to try a different approach to see if it helps. Also, plenty of water! Drink lots. I hope you produce many of healthy eggs for the cycle whenever you choose to be treated at. My BTC clinic, for example, has no age limits for its patiens, only health ones. And I truly don't think some of the extra lbs might be a serious issue for them. Anyway, I'm sure you'll get more answers soon. Feel free to pm, hugs.

Before rushing onto IVF you know your goal: a healthy baby. But knowing what to expect on the journey from here to there is a lot harder. Every case is unique. It is impossible to predict exactly how your cycle will go. In order to understand what you will be experiencing throughout the IVF process, it is important to have a good grasp on what IVF actually is and how it works. The human body is magnificent but unpredictable. Even with the most sophisticated imaging technology in the world, it is not easy to see what is happening on the inside. IVF allows the doctors to create a controlled environment that significantly enhances the opportunity for fertilization of the egg. In IVF, sperm and egg are combined in a laboratory dish, incubated, and carefully monitored throughout the fertilization process. Over the course of 3 to 5 days, successfully fertilized eggs develop into embryos. Then the embryo quality is examined for transfer, freezing, or further culturing and development. For the woman, however, the IVF process actually starts weeks earlier. IVF is not a single treatment but a series of procedures. An average IVF cycle takes about 6 to 8 weeks from consultation to transfer. But again depending on the specific circumstances of each the path is similar for every patient. What varies is how your body responds at each stage. Our journey ended in Kyiv, BTC, after donor eggs had been used with IVF. Went there for more affordable prices primarily. Have nothing to regret about.

This choice is individual, so do your best in doing research. Wishing you all luck in the world!
