So I have had no period for 3 months and have negative pregnancy tests. Could this be perimenopause? I'm 41.
I have spoken to my doctor and he thinks its highly unlikely but not unknown off, I'm having bloods tomorrow to hopefully rule tis out. If it's not that any ideas as to what it could be.
Last miscarriage was February this year, normal periods started in April then suddenly stopped. x

Hi, wizzle. I'm sorry you're facing this. But that's good you tend to get your porblem nailed. I believe your dr is right. You're still capable of producing some good eggs. But sth is happening to your body, your dr has to investigate more. As for the mc, it's always a painful experience. Your body needs time to heal. You too, emotionally. We aren't experts here, so no one will tell you what the cause is. But being in your shoes I'd definitely not be in haste to think it's perimenopause. Hang in here, hugs x
