Ladies, I had a 5dt today of a “beautiful” 4BB - fingers crossed it works... They said my others were not suitable for freezing yet so they’re culturing them till tomorrow to see if they reach the desirable stage. We have 8 they’re keeping an eye on.
Desperate for some feedback please on your experiences with them keeping embryos going till day 6?

On the day of my 5day transfer I still had 1 egg which was developing well but hadn't quite reached blast stage. The clinic continued to culture it, I called for an update the next day and it had reached blast and has been frozen as a 4BB which is top quality. I have a 4AB frozen too and I was told if i need another transfer (hopefully not!) They will transfer the 5day blast first. So yes 6 day can still be good as long as it reaches blast stage. Ask them for the grades as that will help give you some confidence in it too x

I’m currently 6dp5dt with a 4AB. Iv only had period pain symptoms nothing else and feeling very negative!

Hi there, I am same as you...I had a 4AB transferred 6 days ago too..and I have a day 6 frozen (plus another 5 day frozen). I haven't felt period pains, ive had slight cramping/twinges for the 2 days straight after transfer. I have had some discharge and feeling a bit wet down there (sorry tmi). So who knows! Trying not to symptom spot and wont test until Sunday...if I'm brave enough! Really don't want to though!
Hey girls. My embaby was a 4BB. They were really happy with it and said it was lovely. A bit confused because sure a 4AA is better but she said it was at the best it could look for the stage it was at?!
Sadly no others made it. Makes me think if I started off with 10 fertilised and only ended with 1 suitable what bloody chance do I have in the future???
They transferred mine at around 11.30am on Saturday so not sure if Sunday is classed as 1dp or Saturday? Sunday I felt totally wiped out and fatigued with lots of discharge (sorry!). Monday I had low down dull aches which went then a headache in the evening which is an absolute First for me!!! Today a mild headache but nothing else. Sore boobs every day!
I just don’t know what to think. I’ve never had any success so I can’t quite comprehend what a BFP feels like... x
Hey, 4BB is very good! My embryologist told me there wasn't much difference between a 4AB and a 4BB so I wouldn't worry, they made it to blastocyst and at a good grade so don't be disheartened. I would have thought Sunday is your 1dp. I know it's hard not to symptom spot but I assume you're on progesterone too and that gives you sore boobs etc too. I've never had a BFP either so am just trying to focus on other things and get to test day...altho I don't know if I have the courage to test, it terrifies me! X
Yes very aware progesterone can cause all of this! It’s so cruel isn’t it!!
I’m so scared to test too. I almost want to just test every day to take the pressure off that one day! When’s your OTD? Mine is the 6th. I have a 23 day cycle so always come on 5 days earlier than my AF date so this month I would have been due on on 2nd. But I guess treatment throws all that out right? X
OTD for me is 5th, I have 23 day cycles too so I was actually thinking the same as you about when AF would be due but I don't know either if everything we have done with stimming, collection and transfer would change your natural dates anyway. I really don't know! Guess we just wait....no matter how painful it is...Netflix and some good food helps to distract! Lol

Where did you have your treatment? It’s amazing that all 3 of yours has made it to blasto. Clearly no issue with your quality which is great! I have the eggs, they’re just all crap - worrying! X
Mine is a NHS funded round in the Midlands. I was surprised myself and feel incredibly lucky to have 2 frozen too. I have low amh and that has weighed very heavily on me, even thinking about having to look into donors in the future if it ever came to it. It's such an incredibly emotional journey we are on...but it will so be worth it if we succeed!! X
Everyone I know who has had low AMH on this journey has succeeded. As you’ve experienced that can do wonders with the drugs!! I wish I had that over crap quality.. but I wish more that neither of us had to go through this at all!! X
