My first IVF just failed with 1 pgs normal 4 BB embryo, no more embryos frozen because were abnormal. So I will have to start all over.

Hi !

Sorry to hear about your BFN , I had an IvF back in November who ended in 8 weeks miscarriage. Second in June one fresh transfer ended in chimical pregnancy. The frozen transfer was BFN .

Due to my age almost 42 I have been told to do PGS. I read few things about on HFEA and looks like during this process of testing the embryo can be damaged and the rate of miscarriage and failure is the same if you are over 37.

The protocol they used with me was the same .

I would not do a PGS even on my next .

I thought IVF is pure science but doesn’t look like it is.

Good luck with your new cycle!
