Cravings during pregnancy

Bit of a random question.

Is it true salty and spicy cravings means a boy and sweet cravings means a girl or is it a myth?

Myth. I've been craving both sweet and salty. Actually i have been craving more sweet than I normally do when not pregnant. Found out last week I'm having a boy 💙 so I'd say myth. Same with heartbeat...they say anything over 140 is a girl and under is a boy...my babys heartbeat has always usually been around 150 🙂💙

That's really interesting, thanks for letting me know.

I’d say myth too- with my daughter I craved savoury food!!! ❤️ Although her heartbeat was typical of baby girl ( that’s what my midwife said!) xxx
