Hi
Do you count egg collection as being day 1?
Say You had egg collection today, and you tested next Monday would that make it 1 week pregnant??
Or do you cant day 1 from the transfer ,?
Thanks o

I don't know but interested in the answer, everyone I have seen at the hospital have all told me different X
I would have thought its from day of egg col as that's when the egg fertilises.
I'm back to wrk today not looking forward to it 😒 .
I've felt really tired this past few days .
Is it today your going back for a blood test? Hope all goes well xxx
Aw no hope work isn't to bad.
I went for bloods yesterday and have to go again tomorrow. The hcg is rising but I am still bleeding on and off not much tho. It's been such a worrying time since my BFP xxx
You count back from transfer to what day transfer you had so of you test 10 days after transfer and you had a 5 day blasto you'd be around 15 days pregnant. This is not entirely accurate as you can never be that sure on implantation date. This is my understanding and how the clinic worked it out for me.
So, egg collection would have been the day considered as ovulation and you count back 2 weeks prior to that to give you number of weeks pregnant. Although you may be 2 weeks after ec now, you are in fact considered to be 4 weeks pregnant for the purposes of estimating due date and making further hospital appointments.
Day 1 is technically 2 weeks before egg collection in IVF terms. So count back and add on 2 weeks (this works out around the first day of stims on a short protocol).
