Pregnant but negative blood test? Chemical pregnancy?

Hi everyone,

I usually take the cerelle pill and don’t get periods. However I get migraines that make me throw up so am not sure we were 100% being safe.

On 9th April I felt sick in the evening and had really sore boobs. I had no appetite and just felt strange so I took a test on 11th and 12th and felt like there was a very faint line. I had a little bit of a bleed on 13th and 17th (this one was very light pink and didn’t look anything I’ve had before) and threw up twice that week.

I had a blood test done on 17th and my hcg level was 2 (all other tests came back normal as well). My doctor told me that it might be a chemical pregnancy but he couldn’t be sure. He told me to wait until I bleed as there is nothing he could do.

Since then I had a tiny bit of spotting (barely visible), very thick clear/milky mucus and still very faint positives. I have had on and off aches on my sides that feel like pulling (especially on my right) and my boobs have been really sore and veiny. My partner said my nipples felt bigger and different as well.

My moods have been up and down, I have had really bad heart burn, back pain and the newest thing is aching arms (sort of like growing pain). I also have a slight UTI which is odd because I have never had one in nearly 23 years of being alive.

I have no dates to go off as I never get periods but I’m unsure whether I could still be pregnant and just tested too early? However shouldn’t the lines have gotten darker by now? If it is a chemical pregnancy how long could I expect it to take until I bleed?

The doctor won’t see me again until I bleed and he made me feel like I was going crazy or making things up. I’m so stressed I don’t know what to think.

Has anyone experienced anything similar or has any advice? Obviously I will wait a week or two to test again but this whole situation is driving me crazy!
