I had first FET Tuesday and struggling to sleep past 3am. Is anyone going through similar or has anyone got any advice? I am worried it will affect implantation.

FET Insomnia
I had terrible sleeps during the tww, when I woke up at 2/3am, I couldn't get back to sleep or only lightly. Got my BFP last week so didn't seem to affect implantation 😊
I'm on streriods which I'm blaming for the sleep disturbance. I do go to bed very early and nap whenever I can at the weekends.
Congratulations!! 😊 I needed to hear that.. I don’t know if it’s the meds or just anxiety about implantation as I’ve been here before and our first fresh cycle was unsuccessful. Never the less I really appreciate your reply. Wishing you a happy, healthy pregnancy x
Hi KatDub how are you a couple of weeks on? Just to let you know I got my first BFP today it hasn’t sunk in I’m just on cloud nine😊 hope all is going well for you.
Oh Belle, that's such amazing news, congratulations!!! Enjoy every minute of that BFP, best feeling ever! 😊
I'm OK, thanks, counting the days till my first scan, which is next Thursday. This wait feels longer than the TWW 🙈 Btw, sleeping is still broken, but it's now broken by having to get up for a pee in the middle of the night. Also can't stay up past 9.30pm x
Thanks Hun. Lots of luck for your first scan on Thursday. We still have a little wait for our scan as need to take another test on Friday first and if all is well the clinic will book the viability scan🤞. Yes same as you, can’t stay awake past 9ish and sleep still broken.. but in a different way to before BFP. Now it’s more tossing and turning thinking about being Pregnant! 😀 are you working? I’m back to work Tuesday hopefully sleep will improve by then. Keep in touch? Take care xx
Thanks lovely and good luck with the test, I'm sure all will be well with all these hormone support we are on 😊
Yeah I'm back in work since 4 days after transfer, but finding the distraction good wile I wish my life away till the scan.
Yes, let's keep in touch and wishing you decent sleeps 😊 xx
Hi Bella2019, my sleep also has been a little weird. I was so tired yesterday and thought I will sleep through the night but woke up a few times and found hard to get to sleep. Mind you have been fighting my cold too 🤦.
Hi KriSho, thank you for your message. Yes I was the same yesterday. (Minus a cold). Hope you feel better soon. Feel free to keep in touch.
Oh dear... cold and insomnia is a total irritating combination to upset the already stressed up 2ww. I hope you're taking meds to deal with your cold. All of them comes with a bit of sedative so your insomnia is somewhat extream I'd say. In case the medication you're taking is non-sedative then maybe you can ask your doc to change it to a sedative inclusive one. Well that way you'll feel groggy and drowsy all the time of the day but like I said the OP sleep is really important. When you don't sleep enough the whole metabolism of the body gets wacko. This may or most likely does trigger hormonal imbalance and dry-out the body's vitality. That's something definitely to avoid when you trying to conceiving and want to give it your best shot. Try meditation music... music works wonders in times like these soothing the mind, irradicating your scares and inducing sleep. Stay well!
Well the insomnia is pretty much something that will roll in every now and then from the moment you get acquainted with the word "infertility". Usually, it's the anticipation that triggers the insomnia I guess. I have had that a couple of times but it was more insomnia+silent tears. Did you usually have sleep-pattern-disorder? I think in your case it's pondering on the outcome that's keeping you awake. I'd advice to try sleep cause an optimum sleep of around 7-8 hrs is also improtant to give your pregnancy all the chance it needs to turn out successful. Only think I can think of that will help is the youtube sleep music. That's an instant fix and it really works. If you need some links I can give you on PM cause I need that frequently to destress.
Hi AmbK would you mind sharing some sleep music links please? Thank you.
