Hi there, sorry to hear about your failed FET. Don't be bogged down by the failure though... not yet... there's always a way ahead. Like biotexcom says no infertility is absolute.. a failed IVF attempt is only a odd strike of luck that you can undo only by moving forward in your fertility road and moving on with optimism. Now coming to your question, every individual have a different bleeding time after failed FET. Now that's technically supposed to be like your normal AF. 3-5 days of bleeding but sometimes it's even lesser as in a half day bleed or so and then several days of spotting.. Usually heavier and crampier that AF though as it's the uterus is prepared for the embryo which unfortunately didn't latch. Since I landed up on the post late I guess you've figured out everything already. When is your next FET scheduled? I hope you have more viable embryos to transfer if not then the only option is second round IVF. Some studies suggest there's a more chance of success with second round that the first as over the first protocol the body has seasoned itself better to aid and support the pregnancy. Wish you Luck!

Hi there, thanks for your comment. Still got 5 top embryos ready to go. Just started a bit of light spotting (AF), hopefully full flow in next few days then it's a case of starting process again for another transfer 🤞🤞🤞

Oh that's great news really... that you have more 5 top embryos for future transfers. It usually starts as spotting though. However the time between the spotting to heavy AF like flow depends on the individual. In my case it was pretty too fast as in the same day spotting changed to heavy bleeding... and it was damp crampy. Oh and my own bleeding was way to heavy and full of thick tissues... maybe the progesterone made the endometrium way to thick to assist the pregnancy. Needless to say my lining was incompetent naturally as per the doc so they put me on extra progesterone. I have also heard some women that they had spotting for 1-2 days and the process goes slowly to heavy bleeding and some even say it wasn't really that heavy as they anticipated to be. But yeah... I hope it all clear up in couple of days so you can see past this failure and move on optimistically towards future transfers. wish you all the luck in the world for a success with FET soon enough.
