PUFA’s

I haven’t posted in awhile but just read an article out of Boston Children’s Hospital about research concerning low platelet counts and how to boost it. They talk about the Mediterranean diet and foods and oils high in PUFA’s. Olive oil has some but there are others with a higher content. Does anyone know about PUFA’s? Thanks!

Other than fish oil and olive oil, I avoid industrial seed oils. Protein and liver health is my Rx.

I use a lot of olive oil but am specifically trying to also raise my platelet count.

Research suggests that high saturated fat diets lower platelet count so PUFA's can reverse that. Here is a link to the abstract but the study is behind a paywall so if anyone has access perhaps tell us more.
