Avocado is an excellent unsaturated fat. Two drawbacks, it is expensive and not quite as effective as a fuel as olive oil. The body uses fats to produce energy and avocado is good but olive burns the cleanest of all. That may not be a concern for someone with early stage disease but can be a consideration with advanced fibrosis.
Eat as many avocado as you would like. They are a wonderful food for our livers!
