Hey folks,
This is something that we usually don’t do, so I appreciate you continuing to read this post. As so many of us are personally aware of, healthcare is expensive. Very expensive. Sadly this harsh reality doesn’t change when a small community like us tries to make a difference for ourselves.
We are raising money for Phase 2 of our community-based liver screening project called the SUNN study. Please see the link below to read our published report. Our goal for SUNN 2 is to screen the livers of 1,000 people to bring light to the silent fatty liver and NASH epidemic. We want to help people take control of their health and prevent others from going through the pain and struggles of living with fatty liver and NASH. Would you consider a donation to support our efforts? We estimate about $50 covers the cost to screen one person.
We recognize this is no small amount, so every dollar is greatly appreciated. Please click the link below to check out our GoFundMe and see how your donation will help bring live saving liver screening to the Washington DC area. If you are touched and have any amount to spare, we’d greatly appreciate your support. If you prefer the power of visual messages, we’ve also created a kit full of images to help spread the word over social media. We can’t continue to wait for someone else to save us - we have to save ourselves. Thank you again for reading this post and thank you for your generosity! #SaveOurLivers
