Lean pork

I keep seeing conflicting views on pork with NASH.

I'm talking about pork loins/chops, not ham or bacon etc.

Some people say lean pork is fine and others say you should be eating poultry or fish only.

Is there a definitive answer?

It would just be nice to mix up my current diet of chicken breast and tuna (not a big fish fan).

Pork fat is less inflammatory than beef and more than chicken but the biggest issue is with things like ham and bacon with a lot of added chemicals. Lean meat in reasonable quantities is ok for most people.

How about uncured ham or uncured turkey bacon? Always wondered probably too much sodium I suspect. Haven't eaten or looked.

Sodium is always a top concern. When we do pork it is lean loin just meat not processed.
